Welcome to ID4Africa 2016

ID4Africa is delighted to welcome you to the Annual Pan-African Forum & Exposition on digital identity (eID) and its applications for driving socio-economic development in Africa. We are pleased that “The 2nd Government Forum on Electronic Identity in Africa” , will be hosted by the National Identification Agency (NIDA) of The Republic of Rwanda on 24-26 May, 2016 in Kigali.

The event brings together representatives of four key stakeholder groups in the identity space in Africa

  • The identity authorities and users
  • The international development agencies
  • The solution providers
  • The domain experts

The convergence of these four stakeholders in a focused forum creates unique opportunities for networking and exchange of ideas, experiences and funding sources. It unites all the necessary ingredients for enabling the right ecosystem to emerge for the adoption of eID in Africa as an enabler of socio-economic development.
