Call for Expressions of Interest: Development Partners
Overview
Each year, the AGM program is developed through research, consultation and careful curation to bring the strongest available knowledge and experience to the issues that matter most to Africa. In 2027, Development Partners will have several opportunities to contribute their expertise, experience and perspectives to this process.
Opportunities for Participation
Before proceeding, please download and consult the Program Brief, which will help to put in context the sessions presented below: DOWNLOAD HERE
1. Propose and Lead an Open Forum — Day 4
Open Forums are proposed, developed and led by Development Partners, with guidance and support from ID4Africa. They are designed to bring additional topics, perspectives and emerging issues into the AGM program and may take the form of an interactive workshop or a focused symposium with substantial audience participation.
There will be six Open Forums, each lasting 2.5 hours.
Selected organisations will work with ID4Africa to refine the concept and integrate it into the overall program.
2. Participate in an In-Focus Thematic — Day 3
In-Focus Thematics are concise, self-contained mini-symposiums focused on specific issues or challenges facing the digital identity ecosystem. The topics are identified and curated by ID4Africa through its research, consultations and interviews.
Development Partners may express interest in contributing to an In-Focus Thematic as a moderator or an expert panellist / contributor. ID4Africa will match suitable expertise to the relevant In-Focus sessions as the programme develops.
Other Program Opportunities (The Frontline)
Additional opportunities to contribute to the AGM program may arise later in the curation process. A separate Call for Participation for The Frontline will be issued in early 2027 so that it can respond to emerging developments.
