Serge Aina Nirina

Serge Aina Nirina is Director of Programming and Monitoring and Evaluation in the Ministry of the Interior and Decentralization of Madagascar. In his current position, he is at the heart of the implementation and monitoring of the various activities of the Ministry. He also works closely with the Department responsible for the reform of the civil status system and thus participates in the implementation of the reform in progress. He has served as Administrative District Head and Representative of the State in some Districts in Madagascar. With his wide experience in the field, he conducted retroactive birth registration operations with the objective of issuing copies of birth certificates and national identity cards within the framework of the implementation of the birth registration rehabilitation program or EKA Program. Serge is a graduate in Public Administration and holds a master’s degree in Management. He has knowledge and skills in various fields including legal, strategic, IT and managerial.
