National Identification Agency, Presidency of the Republic

Officer of the Togolese Armed Forces, Captain Silété Devo is the Director General of the National Identification Agency (ANID). After 8 years in operational units and joint staff, he joined the General Secretariat for the Administration of the Ministry of the Armed Forces in 2018. In 2020, he joined the Presidency of the Republic and was then appointed as the head of ANID by presidential decree taken in the Council of Ministers. A graduate of the Special Military School of Saint-Cyr in France, the University of Nantes, the Institute of Political Studies of Strasbourg and the National School of Administration (ENA) in France, among others, he is responsible for leading the national identification project, supported by the World Bank. This project aims to assign to all Togolese but also to all residents a unique identification number allowing them to have a legal existence known to the administration and which gives them access to all public and private services.
